Eddleman Hill Sheltie’s is a breeder from ‘Heaven with wings’

When we started looking for our little girl, we never thought we would find a breeder that has so much love and compassion for the sheltie breed. She loves to share stories as well listen to our stories, not too mention full of information to help with potty training, puppy adjusting, to health care to making us feel that we could call her anytime with a questions or concern. We choose are little girl ‘Cammie’ and got to watch her grow and updates with new pictures every week until she was ready to come live with us. Cammie was 9 weeks old when we got her, Tammy shipped her and she arrived in the best shape, was ready to play from the first minute we opened the kennel door, she never cried the first night, ‘mommy Tammy’ sent home a blanket that had her mommy and sibling scent on it, to this day we leave her crate open with the blanket inside and when we are getting ready for bed time all we have to do is say, goodnight and shut her door. Cammie was so easy to potty train and I own all that to Tammy she starts potty training at 6 weeks old, you can tell. On the third day that we had her we went to have out vet check her over and the vet was so amazed how Tammy had kept her health records and how well adjusted the puppy was already. Our vet was very impressed! I tell everyone that we got our new ‘little angel’ from Eddleman Hill and she the best breeder ever, she has wing of an Angel. Tammy and her family just don’t breed sheltie’s they truly love the breed and what other families to share their love for the sheltie’s. I highly recommend Eddleman Hill Sheltie’s; you won’t be disappointed with the quality of puppy you get. We have been truly blesses. Thank you so much Tammy for our little girl.

This Letter is for those Individuals or families who are thinking of getting a Sheltie from Eddlemans Hill Sheltie.

Our male sheltie (Bubba) passed away on July 7, 2009. He was our pride and joy and at the young age of 10 years old we were lost as to whether or not to obtain another dog.

We searched locally and on the Internet for a sheltie to fill our void from our loss. We were looking for a Sable and White Female and was directed to Tammy Eddleman. Tammy was very personal and even called us after receiving our request for a puppy from a upcoming liter. Tammy spent time talking to us, going over all the steps of the adoption process, told us about her kennel and dogs she had. After talking to Tammy we felt we had found our breeder and we decided to go forward and obtain a pup from Eddleman Hill Sheltie.

The long waited liter arrived on October 15, 2009. Tammy called us that night and gave us the good news that we were the proud parents of a new little Sable and White Female Sheltie.

Tammy emailed us photographs of our little pup every week along with a status report on her progress. We drove down to visit Tammy and see our baby when she was three weeks old. We were very pleased in what we saw and how Eddleman Hill Shelties operated. Each dog there was well taken care of and treated like a family member. The newly build “Dog House” was outstanding for all the animals, we were very impressed.

At eight weeks we drove back down to pick up our baby. We sat and played with all the pups from the liter and visited with Tammy. Tammy sat and went over all the items we needed to know about our pup. Tammy had made up a very nice care package for the dog. There was food, dog treats, vitamins supplements samples, toys and a blanket that she personally made. I should tell you that the blanket had the Mom and our pup’s brothers and sister’s scent on it so she wouldn’t feel lost.

Three days went by and we had our vet check out our Pup. The Vet found that our pup was in perfect shape and most of all she was very impressed on how thorough Tammy was with the records and how she had everything put together.

I would recommend Tammy and Eddleman Hill Shelties for everyone looking for a sheltie. You can see the Love and Special care each puppy gets while in her care .

You won’t be disappointed dealing with this breeder. I highly recommend them.

Tammy,
I am almost speechless at how magnificent this little dog is!!!!  He is way above and beyond all my wildest expectations!!  He settled down on the way home and once we introduced him to his new home, offered a little kibble and after a couple of bites, he was hopping around and jumping and playing, and I was so impressed at how quickly he is adjusting!  He is so incredibly well adjusted, he is just so perfect!!  We played and petted him for a bit and then he went in his crate with his mommy's blanket and settled down with no whining or crying whatsoever!!  My husband and I are just singing your praises at how well bred and trained this puppy is.  I have never seen a puppy so well adjusted after being on a big scarey airplane and coming to unfamiliar people and sounds and smells and still being so happy!  He is so awesome!!!  I got my puppy kisses and I am so in love!!!  He follows me all around the kitchen and gives me a little bark if I am not paying him enough attention!  I took him right outside as soon as he wakes up and he potties right where he is supposed to!  I am just soooooooooooooooo in love with my baby!!  You made my dreams of a perfect little sheltie puppy come true and I just can't thank you enough!!!!!!!!!!!!

I purchased my boy, Munchkin, from the Eddleman’s about a year and ½ ago.  It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.  I could tell from my first conversation with Tammy that she took pride in her shelties.  But on my first visit what impressed me the most about the Eddleman’s was that they loved each of their dogs, cats and puppies alike and it was a “family” effort.  Each member of the family pitched in to see that each pet and puppy were properly cared for.  The adult shelties and puppies were all clean, healthy, their coats were well groomed and taken care of (which as anyone knows is a huge job with shelties) and the dogs were all friendly and happy.  This was a sure sign that they were loved!!  I felt instantly that I could purchase a puppy from Tammy with no reservations.  The rest is history…I fell in love with Munchy from the first moment I held him and he licked my face.  It was love at first hug!!  I have two older dogs and two kittens and Munchkin was just what we all needed…a lively, intelligent and fun addition to our home.

If you’re looking for a healthy, happy sheltie to be apart of your family, look no further.  The Eddleman’s are one of the best!

Thanks again, Eddleman’s Shelties, for my beautiful boy.  I don’t know what I’d do without him!!

This letter is directed towards whoever is interested in adopting a healthy, happy, beautiful, well raised sheltie puppy.  We had our first sheltie, Alick, for 14 years.  He was the love of our lives.  When he went over the Rainbow Bridge we were so devastated we didn’t even think about searching for another little “furbaby” for about a year.

I found Tammy’s website by googling sheltie breeders in the Midwest.  I poured over her site and looked at all of the pictures and read all of the useful information she has to offer.  I got a good feeling right away and sent Tammy an email.  We started corresponding back and forth and she told me that she was going to have two litters of pups born in the spring.  I told her that my husband I wanted to be put on the waiting list.

She invited us to come over even before the pups were born so we could meet “Mom” and “Dad”.  All of her dogs were friendly, well mannered, happy kids!!  Five minutes after we got there we knew we had found what our hearts had been searching for!!  We couldn’t wait to meet our baby!!

Tammy kept us updated with emails and pictures so we could see “mama’s” belly growing.  She emailed us the night our litter was born to tell us how many little angels had come into the world and all the other pertinent information.  She put pictures of the pups on the website within a few days and I knew the minute I saw the photos which little one was going to be coming home with us!!

Tammy opened up her home to us to visit our baby, now named Gracie, as much as we wanted before we could actually take her home.  She is the light of our lives!!  Tammy had already started potty training her and she even sent us home with an album that she put together for us full of pictures and lots of really helpful info about training and raising a puppy.  Gracie is the sweetest little girl and has the greatest personality!!

We still have an active relationship with Tammy and her family; they are all involved in the raising and caring for the dogs.  Tammy babysits for us when we go out of town and that way Gracie gets to play with her half brother Willie and mom and dad as well!!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about the Eddelmans and the love they have for their shelties!!  Contact them right away about adopting your own little furbaby!!  You won’t be disappointed!!

To Prospective Buyers of Eddleman Hill Shelties:

Over a year ago we lost our sheltie of 13 years. I missed the companionship that he gave to us and last summer started checking out internet sites and came across Tammy's site for Eddleman Hill Shelties. From the instant I began reading the information she had listed on her website I knew that was the place that I would like to get our next sheltie. I began sending Tammy emails and we talked on the phone but it wasn't until this last March that there was a litter of puppies available. I got back in touch with Tammy and had picked out Parker, now Toby, but from the pictures of 5 days it was impossible to see if he had 4 white paws or a white tip on his tail so I would ask Tammy about this and she would take the time to take pictures of Toby to send to me so I could see his markings. There was weekly updates and pictures from Tammy on Toby's progress and I looked forward to these every week to see how my furbaby was changing. It seemed like an eternity for him to reach the magic age of 8 weeks and we were able to pick him up.

Tammy agreed to meet us halfway and Tammy, Dennis and Devin arrived a little earlier then what they thought originally and it was perfect timing. Tammy took the time to go over all the information that she had brought along for Toby. Our little furbaby did wonderfully on our ride home and he gave lots of puppy kisses to me and slept in my lap with no problems. We had a little over a 3 hour drive back home and Toby did so good riding.

I have had a few questions for Tammy since we got Toby and she has always been very helpful with answers for me. I truthfully cannot say enough about how great she has been to us and it's true, Toby is so full of puppy kisses. They have done a wonderful job with the puppies.

Toby is from Muffin and Bandit's litter born March 1, 2009.

Thank you Tammy, Dennis and Devin for delivering Toby to us and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asked

After loosing our sheltie of 14 year, we were so loss and sad without a sheltie in our lives so we started looking and we came across Eddleman Hill Sheltie's from the very first time we talked to Tammy we knew we had found a good loving place to get a good loving furry baby! So two days later we went to visit Tammy and family. We could tell as soon as we walked into their home that we was in the right place. Tammy was full of information about the puppies and a lot of helpful tips for us...which was great because we had not had a puppy for many years. By the time we was leaving our new little girl was snuggling and all over us like she could tell that we were her new mommy and daddy, it was wonderful!! We knew all long that it felt right adopting a puppy from Eddleman Hill but after we got to their home and seen first hand how they raise and all the love they give their furry friends we would recommend Tammy and her loving family as they truly do love their sheltie's and she knew just what we was looking for and has been so helpful threw day one. We cant say enough about the Eddleman's and how they raise there sheltie's but do know this THEY DO CARE AND LOVE EACH AND EVERY DOG AND PUPPY!

Dear Prospective Buyers from Eddleman Hill Shelties
,

Thank you for the love and dedication you show to all of your "fur babies."  Only love and dedication could result in such a wonder dog as Maddie.  Maddie is the most beautiful, well-behaved, intelligent and loving dog that we could have ever asked for.  All of Tammy's dogs are so beautiful, happy and well behaved we wish could have taken them all home with us.

Maddie is quickly becoming a part of our family and adjusting to life away from her family.  Tammy has made every effort to help us get started with Maddie.

We owe Tammy our heart-felt appreciation for what great care she has taken of us and Maddie.

Sincerely,
Michael Hypes and Samantha Zhang

I cant say enough about the Eddlemans and how they raise their Shelties. After loosing our 11 year old Sheltie we were looking for a very special dog to fill the void in our hearts and our home. We had been looking for about two months but were looking for an adult dog and not a puppy and it was the ad for the puppies that brought us to Cody and the Eddleman family. Tammy knew by the questions she asked us exactly what kind of dog would fit us and suggested that I check out her 14 month old male, Cody, on her website. She then offered to bring him to our home for a visit. After seeing him on line we were hooked and after meeting Cody we were already in love with our special little boy.

After bringing Cody home we realized just how the Eddlemans bring up their dogs. They are used to all household noises and we had very little problems getting Cody used to our daily routine. Tammy raises her dogs with a lot of love and discipline which leads to very well behaved dogs.

Two months later Cody got away from us when we went to visit Grandma. I called Tammy to let her know that he was gone only to let her know that she may get a phone call as Cody still had his Eddleman ID tag on him. We didnt expect to get the help that we did. The whole family came out to find Cody and bring him home. We spent four long days searching 28 acres of wooded land. If you are a frequent visitor of Tammys site you know the rest of the story. Cody got hit by a car.

The Eddleman family and Dave and I went through Codys doctors visits together. I cant believe that any dog has ever had the support the Cody had through his whole adventure. The Eddlemans raise dogs but when they leave their home they dont leave their hearts. Without them I dont know what we would have done. They were willing to help us get Cody back on his feet by taking him back into their home when ours wouldnt work because of the many steps that we have and because of our working hours.

Again, I cant say enough!  If you are looking for a Sheltie dont look any further!  The Eddlemans can provide you with a healthy, happy, and well adjusted one. Dave and I are talking about getting Cody a buddy when he is all the way back to health and we know where well go to get one!

Dear Tammy of Eddleman Hill Shelties,

Thank-you so much for our adorable and very much loved “furbabies”. Sadie and Jackson are another precious gift added to our super-sized family. We are all enjoying and loving the puppies so much!  They pretty much have the run of the house and we wouldn't have it any other way.
Thank-you for making our long distance adoption go so smoothly and effortless.  Everything went as planned and because of your professionalism, we had absolute trust in you.  We appreciated your frequent communication and puppy updates. They were very reassuring and comforting.
It was wonderful how well you coordinated the airfare and transportation for the puppies. The airlines took very special care of the puppies and they arrived on schedule happily wagging their tails.  We also felt very secure using PayPal to purchase the puppies.
Thank-you for making this a joyous and worry-free process. We had absolute trust in you not only for your excellent professionalism, but also because the puppies are such an important part of your life and you truly want the best for them. Knowing that you care for them while they are in our care, makes us feel secure that we can contact you as our personal resource and likewise, we want to keep in touch with you. Most of all, like any parent, we know you want the best for the puppies (as a mom of 8, I can certainly attest to this).  In addition, I feel that I have made a life-long friend.
I would be honored to provide you with any references and speak to any one interested in adopting your furbabies.

Sincerely, Your Life-long Friends,

To Prospective Buyers:

Just when I was at my lowest due to the loss of my beloved Sheltie, Aspen, I began to search the internet for the most outstanding Sheltie breeder.  I was very blest to find Eddleman Shelties, owned and operated by Tammy and Dennis Eddleman. The moment I saw Coby Jack’s picture, I fell in love with him.  I quickly e-mailed Tammy and received a response within 15 minutes.  I was very impressed with her concern for me, and for the love and affection she has for her “fur babies”.  She and I kept in constant contact.  She answered every question I had either by e-mail or by phone.  She is very knowledgeable of the Sheltie breed.  We were in contact with each other twice the day I picked up CJ, as I call him now, at the airport.  The moment I opened his travel crate, my heart belonged to him.  He is very intelligent, loving, and laid back, not too mention absolutely beautiful!

I have known Sheltie breeders in the past from North Carolina, Virginia, and Ohio, and none of them compare to the reputation that Tammy Eddleman has.  Too many breeders raise their Shelties in outside kennels; not Tammy. Her puppies are raised in the home, and receive all the love and attention in the world.  She does not show partiality to any one puppy, but instead treats each puppy as if she were keeping them.  I, like many Sheltie owners, would love to have several.  CJ is my fifth one. I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I am with CJ, and with Tammy.  She not only takes the time to answer any and all questions, but she shares all knowledge with a buyer.  I, too, would work with Tammy and Dennis again, as I have found they are deeply concerned about their Shelties, their new families, and their new friends across the country.   I have kept in touch with Tammy, and will continue to do so.   God bless the Eddleman’s for they are truly special people!!

To Prospective Buyers:

My husband and I have purchased a beautiful Blue Merle Sheltie puppy from Tammy and Dennis. We named her Cierra. We found Tammy and Dennis on the internet when I typed in Reputable Sheltie Breeders. We live in Wisconsin and wanted Cierra when we saw her picture on the internet. However, were not able to get her until right away, due to the fact that we were going to leave to go on our honeymoon, so they held and took care of her for us for an additional month while we were on our honeymoon. They had another name for her, so they started calling her by the name we chose and she learned that very quickly. We also requested that they start taking her for car rides to get her ready for us to pick her up and the long car ride home. They did. We also requested they start working with her on a leash as we live in town and she will be walked daily on leash. They did. I still to this day keep in contact with Tammy and she answers any questions I may have regarding types of food, etc. She still loves her litters even after they have gone to a new loving home.

Tammy Eddleman is the most reputable breeder I have met to date. Her puppies are raised in the home, not in kennels set out in a garage or quansite. Cierra is my third sheltie and the only one that has been raised in the home. I see the amazing difference in Cierra's personality versus my other two shelties that have passed on who were not raised in the home. Tammy and Dennis are a lover of animals and treats each of her puppies that is has bread as her own if she were to keep them. She provides the utmost love and care to each one. It shows in the temperament of the puppies. If I could have more than one sheltie, I would again work with Tammy and Dennis as they are very open, honest, and genuinely great breeders.

Respectfully,
