 To Whom It May Concern,

We lost our beloved sheltie, Dahlia, last September after almost 14 years.  Our oldest daughter was studying abroad in Greece for her fall semester and we had promised to wait until her return at Christmas before we got a new dog.  Upon her return, she found Eddleman Hill Shelties on the Internet.  She found a beautiful male sheltie puppy on their web site and, after clearing it with us, she called them.  She spoke with Tammy, who was very friendly and accommodating.  In no time at all we arranged to meet them the next day in Des Moines, approximately half the distance between their house and ours.   When we arrived at the meeting spot, they were already waiting in their van and from a distance, we could see Tammy holding the puppy in her lap, playing with him.  They had said that there was no obligation to purchase the dog, but it was obvious, the moment we met Charlie, that he was coming home with us.

There is no question that Tammy really cares about the dogs that she raises.  My wife and I had tears in our eyes when we met Charlie and you could tell that Tammy was getting emotional when we were saying our good-byes.  She gave us all the orientation papers as well as a photo album of Charlie from birth to 8 weeks of age, starter food, a blanket that he had slept on with his mother, and a pull toy.  She also told us that she would follow up with a phone call in a day or so to see how he was doing, which she did.  In the past 5 weeks since we got Charlie, we have been in contact with Tammy on several occasions, sending her pictures, which she thanks us for.  Tammy has been invaluable in answering any questions that we may have, responding to our emails within hours.  It is obvious that she really cares about her dogs and truly wants to make sure that they are loved and well cared for.  Our whole family loves Charlie and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending Eddleman Hill Shelties to anyone interested in purchasing a puppy that was raised in a loving environment.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this letter to express my gratitude toward Eddleman Hill Shelties with respect to my Bi-Black Sheltie Tyse.  Before I made my decision to purchase Tyse, I spent considerable time reviewing Sheltie breeders in the Midwest region.  My decision to go with a Sheltie stems from a childhood pet named Monica, who was also a Sheltie.  Knowing full out what to expect from this particular breed, there was really no other choice when deciding to add a dog to my household.  This only left the decision of where to go when it was time to move forward.  Once I discovered bigsheltiekisses.com I began reading the reviews and monitoring the site.  Over time the web site helped me to more fully understand Shetlands and only solidified my decision.

All that being said, I still find myself in awe of Tyse and his ability to learn, his eagerness to be involved, and the ease of communicating with him.  From the moment I left Eddleman Hills, Tyse immediately bonded with me and sat across my shoulders for the entire drive home.  There is not a day that goes by that he does not put a ton of smiles on my face.  I have to compliment Tammy on how well he was socialized.  I can take Tyse over to other residences and he immediately bonds without a moment of nervousness and makes himself right at home.  I have to say that all of my expectations have been exceeded and I absolutely have no regrets.  If you are planning to add a furbaby to your life, Eddleman Hills is the place to go :)

Thanks again Tammy and I wish you the best on continuing to add joy to peoples lives...

Regards,
